WIN STEAM CARE
Artist's Statement
AOBA-BBT approached us with the concept of an after-school care program that focused on child play and interaction with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, and Mathematics) toys and activities. We created their identity, branding, webpage, promotional materials, T-shirts, as well as the overall design of the business concept.
The logo represents both the W of WIN and a DNA strand. The strand itself represents progression, determination, and achievement through higher and higher levels of difficulty. This is also represented in the brand name WIN itself. The combination speaks to the overall identity, which focuses on their students' success in the sciences and technological fields.
The website was designed to be automated to reduce the amount of labor by the business administration staff. The automation included a password protected booking system that could be set up in advance with 12 months of fully automated forms. Parents could then enter the password and make bookings by themselves up to one month in advance all year long. All promotional materials, including the website, were made in Japanese.
