Jerret Gardner is an entrepreneur, businessman, designer, writer, and educator who is committed to creating forward-looking identities and experiences for small and large businesses. Jerret was born in California in 1973. He graduated Temple University's Tyler School of Art and Architecture with a degree in digital media & design. Before that, he graduated from the United States Defence Department's Defence Information School (DINFOS) with the military equivalent of a communications degree. He also holds an MBA.
One of Jerret's favorite historical designers is Kamekura Yusaku from Japan. Almost as equal to his skill in design was his skill in business. He was one of the first designers to take his designs straight to the customer. He would design many works at once for large Japanese companies and display them in a rented department store, which sold tickets to pay for the rental space. He would then send correspondence letters to all of the company heads Yusaku was designing for, which included free tickets to his art exhibition. The rest is history.
Jerret established STAR SEVEN DESIGN in 2019.
