Artist's Statement

Risk Defenders is an information & technology security firm for medium to large scale businesses. They approached us with the need for an identity that closely matched their core values. They also requested a landing page, in addition to business card and stationary mock-ups.

Their core values were speed, security, and reliability. Their slogan is, "You focus on growing your business. We focus on securing your data." We chose a flat initial logo using both the R and the D of Risk Defenders. We then incorporated the imagery of a shield, fingerprint scanner, and the wings on the feet of the Greek god Hermes to round out their overall identity. We focused mostly on the color blue because it is often associated with safety and trust.

We then made the mock-ups and landing page they requested. In addition, we made custom bullet points for their landing page using their logo. We also made a pattern for their stationary using their logo. The combination of both design elements set them apart from the rest of their competition.
